Started with 60 gems and they were all gone after 5 minutes of the tutorial. Poorly thought out, bad tutorial The tutorial forces you to use all your resources before you even start. The tutorial only covers how to grow and sell crop, nothing else about animals or expanding farm. All there are constant popups asking you to use your resources to speed up processes which you can easily click on by mistake, I think this is designed so that you run out and have to buy more.
