It was running for quite some time and in the black DOS box that appears, it said “a restart is needed to I did have to reinstall Office again but the outlook problems are the same. I have 2 email accounts, one in Live and One in Outlook that when you click the tab, in setup, for the Data Files it says “not available”. I tried the manual uninstallation in the link I provided but it is far too complicated for me.
It even switches views when I shut down and restart. I like the monthly view and it switches back to daily nearly every time. I guess I’ll try the Fixit again and just let it run until it says it is done. Outlook will not even let me set up my wife’s Outlook. There’s something really wrong with my Outlook, i think, and I don’t want to spend the money for and still have Outlook problems. If there is a way to just do a clean uninstall of office or outlook, and the problems go away, then I’ll buy the Why in the world would outlook not know or tell me “not available” where the data files are.
