There is no upgrade path for Office programs, you would need to install it separately from Office and then setup up your email on it after installation. I hope the information I provided will help you.

Sorry it’s taken a while to get back to you. The computer in question is my wife’s and I don’t always have access to it. I thought at first it was Outlook that was the culprit, but as soon as I kill Teams, Outlook and other applications return to normal response times. We have considered using Teams as our standard web conferencing solution, but will not be going down that path with these performance issues.

I went into Bluetooth settings, disconnected from the TV. Restarted my laptop and tried to re-connect but has not worked. I have tried to download this app six times using the ‘download for windows’ link. When it gets to the end of the installation wizard it says that the software has been installed successfully. I ticked “open after exiting wizard” but then nothing happens, and in my start menu it doesn’t say anything has been downloaded!

Have updated windows, all graphics card, network drivers etc. The TV has the most recent software update also. Windows says ‘Couldn’t connect’. That’s all. Then the TV also says ‘can’t connect to Desktop, try another device’.

It happened a week or so ago, and I eventually solved it by creating a new profile – which was a pain given I have half a dozen email accounts running through this copy of Outlook Don’t really want to do that once a week Perhaps I should also add that this is just one of several O accounts being accessed by this installation of Outlook.

I also just deleted all Windows Credentials in Credential Manager – when I rebooted and restarted Outlook, I was asked for passwords for all the accounts except the one with the problem I’m afraid I can’t remember the exact sequencing, but I think I added the registry entry, then when it didn’t work, created a new profile as a last resort may be wrong.

The new profile worked and I thought ‘great, I wonder if I can reinstall the account on the existing profile? We’ve seen a pretty sizable influx of this issue over the past few weeks and this has worked without fail for us. You are a lifesaver. Anyone else unable to enter the password when this happens? This happens to me every few months and is very frustrating. Just got back from a 10 Day vacation and spent 2 hours trying to access my outlook on my laptop. Seems silly that there isn’t an easier fix. Removing the account from settings and adding it back in did work.

I tried everything including several long winded calls with O support that went nowhere. What worked for me was removing all credentials, Office etc. Removing the users product license on the admin portal.
