Installing Forge on Windows 10 – Many of the best Minecraft mods depend on this flexible framework

I am apologising in advance as I am sure this topic has been beat to death with previous posts but I am still getting use to all of this Minecraft stuff. My 4 year old went from playing Minecraft to watching all of the videos online and now he is in to mods and wants to get lucky blocks.

I have done some research and gotten some downloads and cannot seem to get the Forge working. We are using the Minecraft Windows 10 edition and I read somewhere that it cannot be modded or use the forge but I do not know so wanted to ask the experts here. I do not know if there is a step by step instruction for this anywhere but any and all help with this forge windows 10 be appreciated. I would love to get the lucky blocks installed for my boy. I have installed the Forge, I forget the version but was getting what forge windows 10 suggested for Windows When I open Minecraft I do not see any option to change the profile to open the Forge, it always just opens mine as it logs in to Xbox Forge windows 10 not sure if this is related or not.
