Looking for:
Filemaker pro 14 sierra free download
My Runtime is running correctly. I try to put my. I get the same issue. My Runtime is now opening correctly on Sierra after I download it from my web site.
And I get 0 message from GateKeeper when I first opening it. This certificate should be installed on your Mac KeyChain. You have instruction on Apple Developer Web Site. In this folder, you will see instruction for code signing a FileMaker Runtime. In this folder, there is a script named “SignScript”.
You just need to follow instruction that Christian give in PDF. To do this, you simply drag your SignScript in Terminal Application. Christian do the rest. I have installed Sierra and FMA Same thing here.
No issue with opening the Runtime Solution after created the Runtime. Now, upload your Runtime folder. Uploaded dmg file to DropBox, then downloaded, again no problems opening the runtime.
Is this file is working for you? Then I used it to create a runtime, and used “lecanin for the Binding Key. Let me, when you want me to delete this message and therefore access to your file I think I can delete it. You need to codesign the runtime app as well as the disk image. I download and unzip your. I will give a try to Christian Schmitz recommandation. I become an Apple Certificate Developer and obtain a certificate on my keychain.
I have your MBS folder for another customer. I will check that right now. I signed the Runtime. Everything works fine Please use spctl command in terminal to verify the app and the disk image before you upload it somewhere. Both must be signed. As you see in current script I actually repair the frameworks included with the runtime.
Signs are verified with spctl command on Terminal Application and everything seems to be ok. I upload the DMG file on my web site. I download it on my Sierra Mac.. When I execute the runtime, I have a message from Gate Keeper that my runtime could not be open because identity can’t be checked.
I go to Gate Keeper preference and click “Open”. Runtime is executed correctly. And this message occurs only on the first time that I open my Runtime. Is it normal? If the runtime is properly code signed it will open without a problem, however, I cannot even open your current app developed for Mac OS X The developer cannot be identified.
Did you try generating a new Developer ID? Yes I do. And I get the message only for the first execution of the Runtime. I thought, with codesign and my Apple ID, that GateKeeper don’t tell me that this app is not identified.
The app can only be opened by ‘control’ clicking on app icon and selecting ‘open’ from the pop up menu.
The app behaves like an unsigned app. By the way I love how you can change the language from french to englisch but you should change ‘gromming’ to grooming’ at the top of the screen.
Also clicking on it will display an unintended dialog see attachment. Gate Keeper is stopping first execution of my Runtime. I am, of course, having the same issue with runtime.
If I find the primary file in the dialog box, as asked, it will then give me an error about the Troi Dialog plugin that is needed for the runtime , and nothing can be done here.
I have found one just one occasion or two if you double-click the PRIMARY file instead of the Application icon, the product will launch and then every subsequent launch can be done properly through the application icon. I am looking into the codesigning solution, but I have two questions, and if anyone can answer them it would be much appreciated. But until then, how do you open the runtime downloaded from a zipped file? It’s already compressed. You can also code sign the DMG via the terminal.
DMG Canvas just makes it easier. For more info check out the following thread where you will find the issue and the solutions discussed at great length: Filemaker 13, 14 and 15 runtimes not working on Sierra Beta 2. I should have clarified a bit. Have not yet signed up with the Apple Developer Program so I don’t have a certificate.
The GPR issue on Sierra seems to be random. Some solutions open fine, others don’t. Until I get the certificate and create new installers, how do I get my customers to launch the solution? I’m able to do so, but when a user downloads the file they can’t open it at all. Is there a solution aside from codesigning that will open the file with plugins? Click on the Question Mark on the lower left of the popup. It gives instructions for by passing the security.
Here are short instructions:. To override your security settings and open the app anyway:. If you want new customers to install your solution on Sierra via the web it needs to be code signed. The described issue on Sierra is not really an issue. It is designed to work this way by Apple to protect users from running unsigned and potentially malicious code.
If you want to support Sierra you have to use code signed DMG installers instead of ZIP files and preferably code sign your runtime app as well as your plug-ins: Filemaker 13, 14 and 15 runtimes not working on Sierra Beta 2. So this is interesting. I initially downloaded your first app and it could not open. I just now downloaded your codesigned app and it worked beautifully. You don’t need to buy MBS Plugin.
But you need to download MBS folder for the documentation and the script. While I appreciate any tipping, you don’t need to buy a license to use my script. Very helpful information as Apple and FileMaker make it more difficult for us developers to get our apps out there. Once again, thanks, and I might bother you again later as I have to file for a corporation ugh to then sign up as an Apple Developer I can’t do it as an individual.
Aaton, I would suggest that you make up your mind by using a progressive approach. With above done, you can try using DMG Canvas to create a dmg Code Signed of the Folder containing the runtime not code signing the runtime as is suggested. The down side of only creating a code signed dmg is that you have to give instructions that the first time the user will open your app, they have to: Control—Click—Open.
There after they can double click your app to open normal. See image below. If you want to your users to not go through the steps on first opening your app, then you will have to go thru the process of code signing both the runtime and the creating the code signed dmg.
DMG Canvas. Why should they be ashamed? So should yours. That’s what I meant. It affects any downloaded file. Most apps have been signed for years and there are very few unsigned apps left.
To implement such major changes in Mac OS for a few more members in the developer program would not be profitable from Apple’s perspective. With over a million apps in the app store the few thousands who have not joined are not worth Apple’s efforts. The main goal is to make MAC OS more secure against hacking attacks which is a positive development for everyone. The Developer ID Installer signing identity, also created in Xcode, is used to productsign install packages.
These certificates are installed in your Mac user’s keychain. If you have installed macOS Sierra, then you should download and install Xcode 8. You will also need to download and install the Command Line tools 8 from the Apple Developer website.
I have found both difficult to follow. Well, let’s first see if you have the right components installed:. Download Command Tools 8 — searching for it, can’t find it. Yeah, the Command Line Tools are well hidden in a “more Downloads…” sub-section.
It took me over 30 minutes to find it a few weeks ago and I don’t remember exactly where it is. I’ll try and find it again for you now. On the Developer “Downloads” page, click the “See more downloads” at the bottom of that page. These are the last few lines in Terminal:. Aatons-MBP:Gorilla 6. In addition, however, I did try this command in Terminal:. It appears that your edits in MBS are signing the app in another Folder.
To simplify things, I suggest that you drag a copy of your runtime. Edit MBS script to use your Desktop path. I will give a try to Christian Schmitz recommandation. To simplify things, I suggest that you drag a copy of your runtime. Edit MBS script to use your Desktop path. This download adds functionallity to Terminal, your Mac’s command line interpreter. Among these tools is codesign. The codesign tool is called within MBS script several times to codesign the frameworks inside your runtime and the runtime app itself using your developer application certificate.
After editing your MBS script as discussed, you just have to place your runtime. Desktop ; open Terminal; change directory to your chosen folder e. The first line returns 0 if the last codesign worked. So I think the paths are all correct in the Signing Script, but I received this error at the end:.
DMG Canvas accepted the certificate. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Perhaps a different certificate? I have found that older versions can cause problems codesigning when left in the build folder. Just to verify, you said earlier that you downloaded the Command Line Tools 8.
Did you install them? I think you are very close to getting this working. It’s probably something simple that we overlooked.
It”s getting late here so I will check back first thing tomorrow to see how you are doing. Before I signed off, I noticed that your deverloper application certificate is just your name. When I created mine with Xcode, there is a 10 character code in parentheses that is suffixed to my name: e.
Yes, I do have a 10 character code after my name 8……3. I reinstalled the Command Lines Tools just in case and tried again. To clarify, to make things as simple as possible, I copied the runtime onto the desktop. It is not in a folder, as it will be before the DMG Canvas build. Add a comment. Sorted by: Reset to default.
