As some other reviewers have pointed out, some handy features to have might include the ability to define the geometry within which the Voroni pattern is generated, being able to generate the pattern on a 3D surface, and the ability to define a starting shape to generate the Voroni, or even define a sketch plane.

So right now the only opton is a 3rd party solution. Not necessarily.. Autodesk has issues with their “integrated” 2d export functionality right now. We tried 3d PDF’s years ago.. It worked just fine as long as you were 1 year behind on Inventor as it took almost 1 year for Adobe to update their importer to open the latest Inventor files.. Other than that you had to use the OpenGL capture tool that Adobe had. I have used a 3d pdf exporter of 3rd party and it is worked fine for me.

It exports my inventor model to 3d pdf in very sort time and with same output in 3d pdf file. I have used this in inventor and I use Bentley View V8i free download. I save my Inventor. I would say it has something to be desired, but it works. For other new users.. Inventor now has built in 3d PDF functionality along with a template system to “style” the output and add additional information to the PDF file..
