What’s Included. One person found this helpful. As a long-time Corel user, I liked this latest version – it’s stable and efficient, with an cleaner interface and improved tools. That said, there is nothing here I would describe as a major new feature. But it is a solid, reliable Windows product, very stable in this version, steadily refined over the years, to do everything you need in a vector graphics program, and to do it well. Also it enjoys a certain level of commercial credibility, without being as exorbitantly priced as Adobe Illustrator.

Even so, it is still a bit too expensive, and burdened with the baggage of unnecessary for me extras like Photo-Paint, Connect, Capture, Website Creator etc. I might have been tempted by Xara’s more reasonably-priced Designer Pro, were it not for the fact that the time and effort involved in learning new software is a serious drawback.

All in all, CorelDraw remains a sound investment, with pretty good support from Corel; their promptly-issued I’ve been a jewellery designer for more years than I care to mention, and for many years drew by hand. It really is a brilliant tool for jewellery designing, and the nice thing is that it allows to draw with your own style there are a few of us that use it, and it’s as individual as designing by hand This is my fourth version of CorelDraw, and with each one I’ve found the advances easy to pick up and integrate into my work.

I can honestly say I learn something new to do with it every day. I do love using CorelDraw for my design I do love using CorelDraw for my design work. Sadly it still needs to works on some of its bugs, but it’s still the best product for what I do.

Also very good value, when you compare with similar products such as Adobe Illustrator which is incredilbly similar. Plus points: includes what was expected from using previous versions. Minus points: slow to load: frequent crashes: some features e. Not as easy to use as ‘Special Edition’ but in time I can see that it has many more features that I will find useful.

It seems slow to open. I’ve been using Corel draw since x4, and the latest version x7 is a great bit of software and is now a very good rival to adobe especially now you have to pay a subscription to use the latest version of adobe, for this reason I can now predict more and more designers now switching to Corel Draw X7, because it’s a great bit of software at an affordable price, and is very easy to use for begginer’s and professionals.
